Ms. Allen has extensive technical experience in regulatory management for large (over $6MM) industrial, power plant, linear, and commercial projects including all phases of development, construction, and operation. She has worked in over 20 US States with multifaceted projects under the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA), the Clean Water Act (CWA), conducting biological assessments, compliance auditing, and due diligence.
As a contract consultant to federal agencies, Ms. Allen developed strategic agency relationships and has valuable insight into their issues and processes. Those agencies include the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), U.S. National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
In her role as Senior Environmental Project Manager with a Fortune 500 energy company, Ms. Allen led negotiations for multimillion dollar compensatory mitigation projects, led the development of construction and operational best practices, presented on behalf of government affairs, and assisted with public relations.
Ms. Allen has also prepared solid waste registrations, waste determinations, and waste reduction plans for several types of commercial, industrial, and power plant facilities. As well as prepared and implemented more than 50 National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permits and site-specific Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), and more than 25 Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans with secondary containment assessments.
Ms. Allen obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
